On the surface the Gruvies was a not-so-subtle jab at the silliness of advertising industry award shows. Less obvious was that the event served as a unique opportunity for the staff of a quickly growing agency to collaborate and bond. The resulting self-promotional campaign was laughably elegant even to those on the outside looking in.
